Safonau Serennog
Diffiniad o ddarpariaeth cyfrwng Cymraeg o’r enw Cylch Meithrin
Cymraeg yw iaith dydd i ddydd y ddarpariaeth.
Cymraeg yw iaith pob gweithgaredd, a Chymraeg yw iaith cyfathrebu gyda’r holl blant a phobl ifanc.
Cymraeg hefyd yw prif iaith weinyddol y ddarpariaeth.
Mae’r ddarpariaeth yn cyfathrebu gyda rhieni yn y Gymraeg neu yn y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg yn unol â dewis y rhieni.
Mae plant o bob cefndir yn cael eu croesawu i’r ddarpariaeth waeth beth fo’i anghenion.
Ystod Gwasanaethau
Gall cylch meithrin gynnig ystod o wasanaethau sesiynol neu ofal dydd llawn.
Mae cylch meithrin yn darparu gofal i blant o 2 oed. Nid yw cylch meithrin yn darparu gwasanaeth meithrinfa ddydd.
Gall gwasanaeth cylch meithrin gynnwys clwb brecwast, gofal amser cinio, gofal sesiynol, gofal cofleidiol, gofal cyn/ar ôl ysgol.
Beth yw Cynllun ‘Safonau Serennog’?
‘Safonau Serennog’ yw enw Cynllun Ansawdd newydd Mudiad Meithrin ac sy’n cymryd lle’r cynllun ansawdd blaenorol sef y Cylch Rhagorol.
Lluniwyd cynllun y Cylch Rhagorol rhai blynyddoedd yn ôl bellach ac mae’r sector a safonau o fewn y cylchoedd meithrin wedi symud ymlaen yn sylweddol ers hynny.
Mae datblygiadau hefyd yng ngwaith a safonau AGC, Estyn a dyfodiad cynlluniau newydd megis Dechrau’n Deg ers hynny wedi newid y disgwyliadau o gylchoedd meithrin.
Mae Sêl Cylch Rhagorol unrhyw gylch sydd wedi derbyn y dyfarniad o fewn y 3 mlynedd diwethaf yn parhau ac yn parhau yn ddyfarniad safon dderbyniol.
O fis Medi 2015 ymlaen ni fydd Mudiad Meithrin yn arolygu unrhyw gylch o dan y cynllun Cylch Rhagorol. Dylid cysylltu gyda’ch Cydlynydd Cefnogi Cylchoedd lleol os yw hyn yn cyflwyno anawsterau o ran marc safon hanfodol sy’n rhan o gytundeb gyda chyllidwyr. Cynigiwn fod unrhyw gylch sydd wedi derbyn sêl y Cylch Rhagorol sy’n parhau yn ddilys, yn arddangos y dystysgrif gyda’r plac aelodaeth newydd.
Mae’n bwysig bod unrhyw ddarpariaeth sy’n cario enw ‘cylch meithrin’ yn cael ei gydnabod fel darparwr gwasanaeth o ansawdd uchel i blant bach a’u teuluoedd.
Pwrpas y cynllun ‘Safonau Serennog’ yw gosod nodau a chamau cyraeddadwy y gall pob cylch meithrin weithio tuag atynt. Mae’n cynnig strwythur fel y gall pwyllgorau a staff werthuso’u gwasanaeth yn wrthrychol.
Mae ansawdd uchel yn ymwneud â llawer o wahanol elfennau, ond yn sail i bopeth mae’r plentyn e.e.
Lles y Plant

Yr Addysg ac Asesu
Yr Amgylchedd
Yr Iaith Gymraeg
Mae Mudiad Meithrin hefyd yn adnabod bod cylchoedd meithrin bellach yn ddarostyngedig i nodweddion safon AGC, Estyn a Dechrau’n Deg ymysg rhai eraill. Bwriad y Cynllun hwn felly yw cydnabod hynny ynghyd ac adnabod arferion sy’n golygu bod cylch meithrin yn gweithredu i safon sydd uwchlaw’r safon ddisgwyliedig/gofynnol.
Sut mae cyrraedd y safonau hyn?
Er mwyn sicrhau bod cylchoedd yn gallu cael eu gwobrwyo, heb fod cost sylweddol ynghlwm â hynny, mae 3 safon wahanol o fewn y Cynllun sef Seren Efydd, Seren Arian a Seren Aur.
Y bwriad yw rhoi cyfle i gylchoedd symud ar hyd y llwybr tuag at y safon uchaf oll ond wrth gydnabod bod safon Seren Efydd yn cario statws safon arbennig yn ei hun, sef bod y ddarpariaeth gofal plant wedi ei ddyfarnu i fod o safon dderbyniol i gario enw a statws ‘cylch meithrin’.
Mae hynny’n cydnabod bod y cylch yn cydymffurfio â gofynion y safonau gofynnol cenedlaethol a bod hynny’n cael ei arolygu gan AGC, a hefyd yn darparu gwasanaeth cyfrwng Cymraeg yn unol â pholisi iaith Mudiad Meithrin.
Nod Mudiad Meithrin, a’r nod felly i bob un sy’n galw ei hun yn ‘gylch meithrin’, yw darparu gwasanaeth cyfrwng Cymraeg o’r safon uchaf i bob plentyn waeth beth fo’i anghenion na’i gefndir. Dyma’r nod o ran y safon a gynigir felly mewn cylch meithrin.
Mae’n rhaid cofio bod safon yn rhywbeth parhaus ac felly nid yw’n stamp cymeradwyaeth unwaith ac am byth. Disgwylir felly i bob cylch meithrin ddilyn proses parhaus o hunanwerthuso, dysgu, addasu, a cheisio gwella, ac yna dechrau’r broses unwaith eto.
Mae’r Mudiad yn darparu Cydlynydd Cefnogi Cylchoedd lleol i’ch cynorthwyo gyda hyn a hefyd Cydlynydd Cefnogi Cylchoedd o fewn eich talaith sy’n arbenigo yn benodol ar y maes ansawdd a safon. Byddant ar gael yn rheolaidd i gynorthwyo’r cylch i gadw a chodi safonau.
Yn ystod mis Medi bydd disgwyl i’r cylch gwblhau ffurflen hunanasesiad ar gyfer y safon Seren Efydd. Bydd gwybodaeth bellach am sut i gyrraedd safon Seren Arian a Seren Aur a’r ffurflenni cofrestru perthnasol ar gael o fewnrwyd Mudiad Meithrin. Bydd pecyn cadarnhau yn cael ei ddanfon at unrhyw gylch sy’n cydymffurfio â’r safon Seren Efydd ac felly a’r hawl i gario enw ‘cylch meithrin’.
